Sabina BerariuArchitectural Assistant, Scott Brownrigg
Sabina Berariu is currently a Part I Architectural Assistant at Award-winning International Architecture and Design Practice Scott Brownrigg and actively involved in the practice’s Design Research Unit, an ideas-led centre of expertise which tackles design, technological, sustainability, economical and sociological factors that impact on the built environment. She holds a Bachelor Degree in Architecture, with a Distinction, from the Portsmouth School of Architecture, United Kingdom. Sabina is the recipient of the prestigious RIBA Overall Student Prize 2014, Martin Harvey Prize for outstanding design work and LSRS Special Prize in Arts- Mention. Trans-disciplinary supporter, Sabina has published and participated in the International Conference on Architectural Research- ICAR 2015 under the theme of Innovation and Experiment: ‘Above& Beyond- a study on Architecture and the Self.’
She also initiated and prepared a proposal on behalf of Scott Brownrigg for participation in the London Festival of Architecture 2015. As a young professional, Sabina is committed to higher learning, open to the unconventional and curious about the unknown. She is keen on building and supporting impactful initiatives through participation as a Volunteer on the Caravanserai Project in Canning Town, London. Sabina will be progressing with her studies in architecture at the prestigious school, UCL the Bartlett, starting October 2015.
