From 2010 to 2016 Dan Bulucea was the Country Manager of Google in Romania, being responsible for developing Google’s presence and strategy in Romania. Bulucea has been developing Google’s presence in Romania and the local strategy ever since the local office opened in 2010, with the aim to support Romanian companies in using online technologies, promoting Romanian traditions with the help of digital technologies on platforms such as Google Cultural Institute and the development of digital skills in Romania via specific educational projects. Dan has over 20 years of experience in the IT&C industry in Central & Eastern European region, covering management, high technology sales & marketing and business development.
Before joining Google, Dan has spent 12 years in Microsoft where he held various roles, most recently as Business and Marketing Director for the Romanian subsidiary, earlier as Senior Platform Strategy Manager at the Microsoft Central & Eastern European Headquarters in Munich.
He holds an Executive MBA and a Bachelor degree in Computer Science.
